f and as amended by Chapter 338, Statues of Nevada 1955, at page 562, is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 10. Mayor, Commissioners, and Municipal Judge - Salary of. From and after the first Monday of April, 1959, the elected city officials of the City of Las Vegas shall receive the following salaries and compensations: The mayor of the City of Las Vegas shall receive remuneration for her services the sum of $6000 per annum; each of the commissioners shall receive the sum of $4200 per annum; the city attorney shall receive such sum as may be determined by the mayor and board of commissioners which shall not be less than $9000 nor more than $12,500 per annum; which shall be full compensation for all services rendered said city. The municipal judge shall devote his full time to the duties of his office and shall not engage in other business for compensation. SECTION 2. This act shall become effective on April 1, 1959. _________________________denotes additions. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. His Honor Mayor Baker noted the presence of some young people and stated he would like to recognize them and their schools. The following gave their names stating that they were from Las Vegas High School: Joan Seaman Lorraine Stewart Tony Terry Eugene Davenport His Honor stated that it was gratifying to see the interest they had shown in attending a City Commission Meeting. There being no further business to come before the Board, at the hour of 9:10 P.M., Commissioner Sharp moved this meeting adjourn.
