to sell to the Clark County School District, for the sum of TWENTY THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED THIRTY and 80/100THS DOLLARS ($23,330.80), the site for the Roy W. Martin Junior High School near 28th and Stewart Streets, said property being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: A certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situate in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada and being a portion of the North One-Half (N½) of the Southwest One-Quarter (SW¼) of Section 36, Township 20 South, Range 61 East, M.D.B.&M., and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of Stewart Ave. (formerly known as Central Ave.,) and 28th Street (formerly known as Howard Street), as shown by — map of Artesian Acres Subdivision, recorded in Book 1 of Plats, Page 38, in the office of the County Recorder Clark County, Nevada thence South 88°00' East, along the center line of Stewart Ave. a distance of 40.11 feet, thence South 2°11'40" East along the prolongation of the Easterly right of way line of 28th St., a distance of 40.11 Feet to TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 88°00' East parallel with the center line of Stewart Ave. aforementioned, a distance of 660.0 feet, thence South 2°00' West a distance of 806.01 feet, thence North 88°00' West parallel with the center line of Stewart Ave., a distance of 600.89 feet to a point on the Easterly right of way line of 28th Street afore- * mentioned, thence North 2°11'40" West along said Easterly right of way line, a distance of 808.17 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING containing 11.67 acres more or less. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public meeting of the Board of Commissioners shall be held on the 7th day of January, 1959, at which meeting objections to the proposed sale may be made by the electors of the City of Las Vegas. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following notice, to-wit: "NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting will be held by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas on Wednesday, the 7th of January, 1959, at the Council Chambers, City Hall, 400 Stewart Street, Las Vegas, Nevada, at which time the Board will consider the adoption of a Resolution authorizing the Board to sell certain real property to the Clark County School District, the description of which is contained in a Resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners at a regular meeting held December 17th, 1958. If said solution is adopted the City will sell the land described in said Resolution for the cash sum of $23,330.80. All parties interested are hereby notified to appear at the time and place above mentioned. DATED: December 17th, 1958. Acting City Clerk be published in a newspaper of a general circulation, published in the City of Las Vegas, and such notice will be published not less than twice on successive days, the last publication to be not less than seven (7) days before the day of said public meeting. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners is hereby authorized and directed to publish the said notice in the Las Vegas Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in Clark County, Nevada.
