Boos Commissioner Whipple moved the following applications for gaming license be approved. AL'S MARKET 404 South 2nd O. W. Glenn 2 slots R0BINH00D DRIVE IN 2223 Fremont O. W. Glenn 1 slot SILVER CLUB Jackson O. W. Glenn 3 slots Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none . Absent: Commissioner Bunker. At this time Commissioner Bunker and City Attorney Cannon arrived at the meeting. Discussion was held on the uncompleted hotel known as the Carver House on the northwest corner of D and Jackson Streets. City Manager Kennedy reported that he and the City Attorney had contacted Judge Foley and it had been decided that if the City would construct a fence around the property and present a bill to the Court it would be handled as a preferred claim. Mr. Kennedy advised that this uncompleted building was very hazardous and it was necessary to construct the fence so that someone would not get hurt. He stated that the estimated cost of the fence was between $600 and $700. Thereafter Commissioner Sharp moved the recommendation of the City Manager be accepted and authorization granted to spend approximately $700.00 to construct a fence around the Carver House. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Bunker, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; Noes, none. Commissioner Bunker gave a report of the meeting he and Commissioner Fountain held with Dan Smith of Vegas Transit Lines concerning the rescheduling and rerouting of the busses.
