This being the time set for the opening of bids for the installation of the Golf Course Sprinkler System in State I and/or Stage II, bids were received from the following firms: AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION CO. LONGLEY CONSTRUCTION CO. Commissioner Sharp moved the foregoing bids be referred to the Director of Public Works for tabulation and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner W hippie and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and Mayor Baker voting aye; noes, none. This being the time set for receiving bids for the installation of a paved playground area at Jefferson Recreation Center and a paved parking lot at 4th and Stewart, bids were received from the following firms: IDEAL ASPHALT PAVING CO. INC. INGRAM CONST. CO. PAHLEN CONST. CO. INC. WHITING BROS. CONST. CO. Commissioner Bunker moved the foregoing bids be referred to the Director of Public Works for tabulation and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. This being the time set heretofore for the opening of bids for the furnishing of four one- half ton pickups, 1956 models, bids were received from the following films: CASHMAN GMC TRUC CO.
