    An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 364, AS AMENDED BY SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 379, ALSO KNOWN AS SECTION 5, CHAPTER 29 OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, PROVIDING FOR ANNUAL BILLING FOR SEWER CHARGES, PAYMENT FEE REQUISITE TO ISSUING OF LICENSES; DECLARING CHARGES TO BE A LIEN; AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Bunker and Sharp was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Bunker moved the above entitled ordinance No. 679 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and Mayor Baker voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Consideration was given to the appeal filed protesting the granting of a variance to O.M. Kulien and Elmer and Esther Simila to construct an off-street parking lot to provide patron parking for adjacent commercial and professional buildings on property at the southeast comer of 11th and Bonneville in an R-4 zone (Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Maryland Tract #2). Commissioner Bunker moved a public hearing on this matter be held on December 7, 1955 at 7.30 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and Mayor Baker voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker moved the clerk be authorized to notify Mr I G. C. Luzier that the agreement for curb cut at 5th and Gass to permit angle parking has expired. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and Mayor Baker voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Harry Levy for license for 6 slot machines at the Friendly Liquor Store, 6l6 W. Bonanza for the fourth quarter of 1955 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker,Sharp,Whipple and Mayor Baker voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of C. R. Millhizer for a Restaurant Bev­erage license for the Silver Club Cafe, 505 Jackson be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Com­missioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and Mayor Baker voting aye; noes,none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time Commissioner Sharp moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and Mayor Baker voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Fountain.
