Commissioner Whipple moved that lots 1 to 4, Block 2; Maryland Tract No. 2 be rezoned from C-1 to R-4 and that Lot 5, Block 2, Maryland Tract No. 2 remain as C-2. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that Lots 16 - 17; Block 23; Wardie Addition; and Lots 31 - 32, Block 24, Pioneer Heights be referred back to the Planning Commission with the recommendation they be rezoned from R-4 to C-2. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. City Manager Kennedy stated that there was a revolving fund to purchase fire hydrants, and he would like to get authority to purchase another 100 at an approximate cost of $11,000. Commissioner Bunker moved that the recommendation of the City Manager be accepted and the purchase of 100 fire hydrants at a cost of $11,000 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes none. Mr. Kennedy said that he had been in contact with the Nevada Armored Transport and that for $40.00 a month they will pick up the city bank deposit and take the parking meter nickles to the bank daily. He further stated that they were covered by $1,000,000 insurance on their cargo. Commissioner Fountain moved that the City Manager be instructed to employ the Nevada Armored Transport at a cost of $40.00 per month to transport the City's bank deposits. Bonanza was permitting the sale of beer and wine at 4l6½ W. Bonanza without a license. Thereafter Commissioner Sharp moved that the restaurant beverage license of Thomas Bibbs for the Baby Beef Cafe be suspended and Mr. Bibbs notified to appear on October 5, 1955, to show cause why his license should not be revoked. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, Commissioner Sharp moved this meeting recess until September 28, 1955 at 7:30 P.M.
