PRIVATE DETECTIVE LICENSE Charles A. Wortman MASTER PLUMBER CERTIFICATION Joseph A. Stine Thereafter Commissioner Sharp moved the recommendations of the Board of Civil Service Trustees for the above listed salary increases be approved, effective July 1, 1955. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bunker. Commissioner Fountain moved the application of Charles A. Wortman dba Nevada Consultant's Service, 205 North 1st Street for a license for a private detective be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bunker. At this time Mr. Joseph A. Stine appeared before the Board concerning his application for certification as a Master Plumber. Mr. Stine stated that he had taken the examination on two occasions and had been advised that he had not passed. He presented recommendations to the Commission from various people he had worked for and with in Southern California verifying as to his qualifications as a Master Plumber. Thereafter Commissioner Sharp moved that Mr. Stine's request be referred to the Board of Examiners and Appeals for investigation and recommendation back to the Commission at the next regular meeting on July 20, 1955. Motion seconded by Commissioner Fountain and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bunker. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, Commissioner Whipple moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Fountain, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bunker.
