Smith, Las Vegas Key Service, 1228 South Main Street, for a locksmith license be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Jarrett. At this time Commissioners Bunker and Sharp, committee for recommendation on the proposed sever rental ordinance, reported favorably on this amendment. Thereafter an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 364 ALSO KNOWN AS CHAPTER 29, CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, BY PROVIDING A NEW SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR SERVICE RENDERED BY AND THROUGH THE MUNICIPAL SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM; PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH vas read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved that the above entitled Ordinance No. 633 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Jarrett. Commissioners Sharp and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed plumbing code amendment, requested additional time before reporting. At this time Commissioners Whipple and Bunker, committee for recommendation on the proposed amendment to the traffic commission ordinance, reported favorably on this amendment. Thereafter an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 616 BY PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL MEMBERS OF THE TRAFFIC AND PARKING COMMISSION; PROVIDING THEIR TERMS IN OFFICE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH, AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO vas read in full to the Board. Commissioner Whipple moved that the above entitled Ordinance No. 634 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Jarrett. At this time Commissioners Bunker and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed license penalty ordinance, reported favorably on this ordinance. Thereafter an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR LATE PAYMENT OF LICENSE FEES AND OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO vas read in full to the Board. Commissioner Bunker moved that the above entitled Ordinance No. 635 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and passed by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Jarrett. Commissioners Bunker and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed ordinance on planning commission fees, requested additional time before reporting. At this time Commissioners Bunker and Whipple, committee for recommendation on the proposed rezoning ordinance, reported favorably on this ordinance. Thereafter an ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER 24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP vas read in full to the Board. Commissioner Sharp moved the above entitled Ordinance No. 636 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Jarrett. Commissioner Whipple, member of the committee for recommendation on the proposed liquor ordinance, requested additional time before reporting. The Mayor advised the Board that there vas an opinion from the City Attorney that the City is not required to pay for the hospitalization of prisoners in the County Hospital. Commissioner Whipple moved that in view of this opinion no further claims be paid to the Hospital for hospitalization of prisoners. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Jarrett. 3-2-55
