Thorough knowledge of the methods, tools, supplies, and general practices required to construct and maintain greens, fairways, and other parts of a golf course; knowledge of grass culture, grass diseases, and the chemicals and other means used in the control and eradication of grass diseases, rodents and other pests; ability to train and supervise the work of others; ability to get along well with others. It is recommended that the above Ordinance #257 he changed to bring personnel, financial responsibilities and other authorities under the City Manager and remove the responsibilities for the operational character of the course from going directly to the City Commissioners with these problems."
