    CODE OF STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE Governmental Affairs ORDINANCE NO. 618 Setback CLAIM FOR REFUND Sal Sagev Tavern Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved that three copies of the Code of Standard Specifications placed on file in the City Clerk's Office and she be authorized to publish the Notice that said copies are on file. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. The City Attorney reported that he had received a letter from the Legislative Committee, Governmental. Affairs. The City Attorney requested the Commission to inform him if they have any legislative amendments they wish to have enacted. At this time Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple members of the committee for study and recommendation on the proposed setback ordinance reported favorably. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 24, Section 26, Code of Las VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 573 BY ADDING THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM BUILDING LINE SETBACKS AND STREET WIDTH LINES FOR WESTERN STREET AND INDUSTRIAL ROAD, 25TH STREET AND SAN FRANCISCO AVENUE AND DECATUR BOULEVARD TO THOSE SETBACKS ALREADY ESTABLISHED IN ORDINANCE NO. 573; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF: AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO was read in full to the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved the above entitled ordinance No. 618 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. At this time the Board considered the claim for refund of J. Kell Houssels, Sal Sagev Tavern, 1 Fremont Street for overpayment on two slot machines in the amount of $80.00 Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved this claim for refund in the amount of $80.00 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, Commissioner Whipple moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Gaming License of California Club s/ C. D. Baker Mayor NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING To: C. D. Baker, Mayor and to Wendell Bunker, Rex A. Jarrett, Harris P. Sharp, Reed Whipple, Commissioners and George H. Rounthwaite, Acting City Manager, and Howard W. Cannon, City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas. You and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Baker, a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, will be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 5th and Stewart on the 22nd day of July, 1954, at the hour of 4:00 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1.
