Silva, represented by Mr. Wm. Coulthard, appeared before the Board regarding the business license of Morvay Building Supply. Mr. Coulthard reported that Mr. Silva was no longer conducting business in his home, but has a business address at 500 West College Avenue, North Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Coulthard also presented the Board with letters of recommendation from several business firms. Commissioner Jarrett suggested that these letters be made a matter of record. Commissioner Whipple moved the bid for fertilizer for the Park, Golf Course and Cemetery be awarded to Clark County Wholesale Mercantile in the amount of $11,059.76. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the bid for grass seed for the Park, Golf Course and Cemetery be awarded to the Clark County Wholesale Mercantile in the amount of $2,598.05.
