    GALL OF SPECIAL MEETING May 29, 1953 TO: SHIRLEY BALLINGER, City Clerk Las Vegas, Nevada A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas is hereby called to be held in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, on the 29th day of May, 1953, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. to consider the following matters: 1. Public Hearings: a) REZONINGS 1. FROM R-3 to R-4 - Lots 1 to 3, Block 3, South 5th Street Tract No. 1, Generally located at the southwest comer of St. Louis Street and Paradise Valley Road. 2. FROM R-3 to R-4 — Lot 14, Block 9 of the Boulder Addition; gener­ally located on South 2nd Street between Colorado and Imperial Avenues. 3. FROM R-3 to R-4 - Portions of Blks 2, 4 5, 6, 10, 11, Meadows Addition and all of Blocks 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and unnumber­ed lots and blocks lying north b) VARIANCE APPLICATIONS (Denied by the Planning Commission and said denial appealed by the applicant.) 1. Application of Howard Burgess to construct and maintain a dormi­tory for men located at 213 North 2nd. 2. Application of Howard Burgess to construct and maintain a trailer park located north of Bonanza Road and south of Marble Manor and west of H Street. 2. Mr. R.B. Griffith will be present regarding a building permit in the Griffith Tract. 3. Final map on McNeil Tract No. 2 and Hyde Park No. 3. 4. Mr. William Coulthard will be present concerning the request of P.O. Silvagni for aerial passage way over the alley between the Apache Hotel and annex on North 2nd Street. 5. Proposed Ordinance on City Clerk's position. 6 . Application of Irving F. Quale and Wallace E. Gogert for transfer of the license of the Square Deal Loan, 118 North 1st Street.
