    WHEREAS, on May 14, 1953, the Regional Planning Commission approved such application inas­much as they did not feel this use would be detrimental to surrounding property values; and WHEREAS, such decision was filed with the Board of Commissioners on May 18, 1953, recom­mending that such variance be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that Guy Foster be granted a Variance to construct and maintain a duplex within ten feet of the rear property line in addition to a single family residence at 130 Baltimore Avenue, be and the same hereby is approved. Denied VARIANCE APPLICATION George & Bernadine Young Approved V-38-53 Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Peccole and Whipple. At this time the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission on the application of Nelle Price Rossi to construct a servant's quarters at 1713 Ophir Drive was considered. Commissioner Jarrett moved the application for variance be approved and the following resolution adopted: R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, on the 24th day of April, 1953, Nelle Price Rossi filed an application with the Re­gional Planning Commission for variance to construct and maintain servant's quarters contain­ing kitchen facilities on property located at 1713 Ophir Drive, legally described as Lot 6 , Block 11, Bonanza Village Tract; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1953, the Regional Planning Commission held a public hearing on this ap­plication for variance, at which time no objections were raised and no communications protesting the granting of said variance were received; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1953, the Regional Planning Commission approved the application inasmuch as they did not feel this use would be detrimental to surrounding property values; and WHEREAS, such decision was filed with the Board of Commissioners on May 18, 1953, recommend­ing that such variance be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that Nelle Price Rossi be granted a Variance to construct and maintain servant's quarters containing Kitchen facilities at 1713 Ophir Drive be and the same hereby is approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Peccole and Whipple, The Board considered the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that the application of the Franklin Brothers to establish and maintain a temporary outside storage yard to be used for storing pipe and plumbing materials at 109 South 12th Street be denied. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved the recommendation that this application be denied, be ac­cepted and the following resolution adopted: R e s o l u t i o n WHEREAS, on the 29th day of April, 1953 the Franklin Brothers filed an application with the Regional Planning Commission for Variance to establish and maintain a temporary outside storage yard to be used for the storing of pipe and plumbing materials at 109 South 12th Street; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1953, the Regional Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application for variance; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1953, the Regional Planning Commission voted to recommend that this application be denied inasmuch as it was felt that this would be incompatible with other uses in the neighborhood; and WHEREAS, such decision was filed with the Board of Commissioners on May 18, 1953, recommend­ing that such variance be denied. MOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission that the application of the Franklin Brothers to establish and maintain a temporary outside storage yard for pipe and plumbing materials at 109 South 12th Street be denied, be and the same hereby is accepted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioner Bunker, Jarrett, and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Peccole and Whipple. The recommendation of the Regional Planning Commission on the application of George and Bernadine Young to construct a single family residence in addition to two single family residences at 1925 West Charleston Boulevard was considered at this time. Commissioner Bunker moved the application for variance be approved and the following resolution adopted: R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, on the 1st day of May, 1953, George and Bernadine Youne filed an application with the Regional Planning Commission for variance to construct and maintain a single family residence in addition to two single family residences on a lot approximately one acre in area, located at 1925 West Charleston Boulevard; and WHEREAS, on May 14 , 1953, the Regional Planning Commission held a public hearing on this ap­plication for variance, at which time no objections were raised and no communications protesting the granting of said variance were received; and WHEREAS, on May 14, 1953, the Regional Planning Commission approved such application inasmuch as they did not feel this use would be detrimental to surrounding property values; and WHEREAS, such decision was filed with the Board of Commissioners on May 18, 1953, recommend­ing that such variance be granted. 5-20-53
