Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none, A group of business men from the Westside area were present to discuss the fact that Mr. Hans Eberhardt, El Rio Liquor Store owner has been operating in violation of the Ordinances, and to inform the Board that they are opposed to his operating in this district. Commissioner Peccole moved that Mr, Eberhardt be given until the first of May to either sell or transfer his license from that area; also if the Board discovers any additional flagrant actions his license will be revoked immediately. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and Whipple; noes, none. Mayor Baker passed his vote. Deeds for gith-of-way in the area of Maryland Tract No. 2 were received at this time from the following people: Stanley E, & Nola F. Hardy and Delwyn B. & Verna Irene Huff, R. R. Cantrell, and the Southern Nevada Power Company. On motion of Commissioner Jarrett, the following Resolution is adopted, and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 25th day of March, 1953, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the deeds, dated the 11th and 19th of February and the 20th of March, 1953, executed by R. R. Cantrell, Southern Nevada Power Company, and Stanley L. & Nola F. Hardy and Delwyn B. & Verna Krene Huff to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and filed in the records of this Board. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor, voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Whipple moved the City Manager be instructed to contact Mr. Jones, the only property owner in this vicinity who has not deeded right-of-way to the City to see if this matter can be cleared up.
