PUNCH BOARD LICENSING An inter office memo from the City Attorney regarding the request of a Mr. Weaver to license Punch Board in the City was read to the Board. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved this matter be held in abeyance for further study. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Whipple voting aye; noes, Mayor Baker. Commissioner Jarrett passed his vote. EXTENSION OF SOUTH 17th Street Commissioner Bunker moved that Mr. Richard Stadelman be given a building permit in the 1200 Block of South 17th Street providing he files the necessary bond to insure the installation of sidewalks, curbs, gutters and street paving, together with the deed for the extension of said street. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. WESTSIDE ELKS Commissioner Peccole moved the request of the Westside Elks Club to hold their annual. Annual Carnival Carnival January 28, through February 1, 1953 be approved and the license waived. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PETITION FOR VACATION Streets in Proposed Maryland Tract No. 2 Commissioner Peccole moved the petitions for vacation of certain portions of streets in the proposed Maryland Tract No. 2 be referred to the Regional Planning Commission for recommendation Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Jarrett passed his vote AGREEMENT - Power Commissioner Peccole moved the agreement with the Southern Nevada Power Company concerning Company Transformer the change on location of their 10th Street Transformer Station be approved and the Mayor Station and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Jarrett Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none, commissioner Bunker passed his vote. RIGHT OF WAY Mr. Dale Cook, representing Mr. Dan Plunkett appeared before the Board to request the tentative Clos Road acceptance of Clos Road South from Charleston Blvd.
