ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 100-17 Award of Bid on Bonds That the bid and offer of said First National Bank of Nevada, whereby said bidders agreed to purchase said bonds, bearing interest at a rate of Four and Forty One Hundredths per centum (4 .4 0 %) per annum, for the principal amount thereof, with accrued interest to the date of delivery, is the only bid submitted for said issue of bonds and the same should be, and hereby is accepted, and said bonds are awarded to the said FIRST NaTIONaL BANK OF NEVaDa . It was then moved by Commissioner Bunker and seconded by Commissioner Peccole that all rules of this Board which might prevent, unless suspended, the final passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution at this meeting be, and the same are hereby suspended for the purpose of permitting the final passage and adoption oS said resolution at this meeting. The question being upon the adoption of said motion and the suspension of the rules,-the roll was called with the following result; Those voting aye: Commissioner Bunker Commissioner Jarrett Commissioner Peccole Those voting nay: Passed vote: Absent: None Mayor Pro Tem Whipple Mayor Baker All members of the Board of Commissioners having voted in favor of said motion, the Mayor Pro Tem declared said motion carried and the rules suspended. Commissioner Bunker then moved that said resolution be now placed upon its final passage and adopted. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Peccole. The question being upon the passage and adoption of said resolution, the roll was called with the following result: Those voting "Aye" Commissioner Bunker Commissioner Jarrett Commissioner Peccole Those voting "Nay":None Passed Vote: Mayor Pro Tem Whipple Absent: Mayor Baker The Mayor Pro Tem thereupon declared that all the Commissioners present having voted in favor thereof, said motion was carried and the said resolution duly passed and adopted. Commissioner Bunker introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution, which was thereupon read in full, and at length, and is as follows: #314 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, due and legal notice has been given and published that the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas proposes to sell and invites proposals for the purchase of $273,971.88 of its Assessment District No. loo-17 Street Improvement Bonds, Series of July 1, 1952; and WHEREAS, said bids have been opened this 6th day of August, 1952, in accordance with said notice; and WHEREAS, it appears that the bid of the FIRST NATIONAL BaNK OF NEVaDA is the only bid submitted for said bonds; NOW, THEREFORE, Ba IT RESOLVED BY THE BOaRD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LaS VEGAS, NEVa DA: that the bid and offer of said FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF NEVADA, whereby said bidders agreed to purchase said bonds, bearing interest at a rate of F our and Fortycone Hundredths per centum (4.40%) per annum, for the principal amount thereof, with accrued interest to the date of deliver, is the only bid submitted for said issue of bonds and the same should be, and hereby is accepted, and said bonds are awarded to the said FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF NEVADA.
