Charleston 1 slot Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Hotel El Cortez, by William J. Moore, 612 Fremont for 60 slot machines, 2 craps, 1 Roulette, 3 "21'', 1 Wheel of Fortune, being a change of ownership be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of the Westerner Club 23, Fremont by E. Giorgetti for 100 slots, 1 Roulette, 3 Craps, 3 "21", 1 Race Horse Keno, and 1 Poker for the second quarter of 1952 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Peccole moved that inasmuch as the Club Savoy has their State License, the application of Norman Khoury, Club Savoy, 116 Fremont for 54 slot machines for the second quarter of 1952 be approved. This motion died for lack of a second. Mr. Louis Wiener appeared before the Board at this time on behalf of the applicants for license at the Last Chance, 109 Fremont Street, formerly known as the 49er Club. Mr. Wiener explained what had transpired since this license had been revoked for the 49er Club, and requested the favorable consideration of the Board. Commissioner Bunker moved this matter be held in abeyance until April 29, 1952 at 4:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Sam Cohen, Tivoli Turf, 125 North 1st Street for license for 1 Race Horse Book for the second quarter of 1952 be held in abeyance until there is a full Board present. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Vegas Enterprises, Wakes Fountain Lunch, 127 South 2nd for 2 slot machines for the second quarter of 1952 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 16 OF THE CODE OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, 1949, ALSO KNOWN AS THE LAS VEGAS LIQUOR CONTROL ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DISTRIBUTION AND CONTROL OF INTOXICATING AND ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR AND BEVERAGES; REGULATING PLACES WHERE AND UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS SAID INTOXICATING AND ALCOHOLIC LIQUORS AND BEVERAGES MAY BE KEPT, SOLD, GIVEN AWAY OR OTHERWISE DISTRIBUTED: PROVIDING FOR PERMITS AND LICENSES; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH," Additional Change New ORDINANCE NO. 483 Liquor
