    Commissioner Moore moved the application of the First National Bank as Executors of the Estate of David Winston for a Retail Beverage license for the Westside Cafe, 322 Madison for 1951 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Moore moved the application of Sam and Anne Taylor, Organ Melody Inn, Change of Name 111 North 1st Street for a Tavern Liquor license for 1951 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye, noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. OFF STREET PARKING Commissioner Bunker moved a delegation from the Retail Merchants Association and the Chamber of Commerce be invited to meet with the Board to discuss the problem of off street parking. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Bunker moved this meeting adjourn. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Peccole. ATTEST: APPROVED: * * ************* Las Vegas, Nevada April 4, 1951 A regular meeting of. the Board of Commissioners held this 4th day of April, 1951 was called to order at the hour of 3:40 P.M. by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin with the following members present: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple; City Manager C. W. Shelley and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger. Absent: City Attorney Howard W. Cannon. PAYROLL WARRANTS Commissioner Whipple moved that Payroll Warrants Nos. 1191 to 1193 inclusive in the net sum of $25,801.47 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved that Service and Material Warrant No. 2080 in the total amount WARRANTS of $12,090.28 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. BID NO. 51.3 - Tires Commissioner Whipple moved the bid of Ted Werner on Bid No. 51.3, Tires, being the low Awarded bid received be accepted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. BID NO. 51.U - Batteries Commissioner Bunker moved the award of Bid No. 51.4, Batteries, be held in abeyance. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
