    Commissioner Peccole then duly seconded the motion. The matter was Bid on TD Bull Clam referred to the City Manager for negotiation. Tractor WESTERN AIR LINES - A letter from the Western Air Lines asking the City to become party intervener in a pe- Letter & Petition tition of Western Air Lines to extend its service from Sioux Falls, North Dakota via Casper, Wyoming to Las Vegas, Nevada, was read to the Board. The letter was ordered filed. MINUTES Commissioner Peccole moved the minutes of November 8, 1950 be approved by reference with the following exceptions: The partial payments to Wells Cargo and Ar-Bee Construction Co., and the request of the City Attorney, and the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved that Service & Material Warrants Nos. 2019 to 2023 inclusive WARRANTS in the total amount of $34,332.13 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Peccole moved the application of the Shamrock Hotel, Inc. Shamrock Hotel, New 600 North Main, for 1 "21" game, 1 Crap and 1 Roulette Wheel be deferred until the ap- plicants furnish their State Gaming License number. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Additional Commissioner Peccole moved the application of the Golden Nugget Inc., Golden Nugget, 2nd and Fremont for one additional "21" Game be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved the applications of Robert Brodine, Acme Liquor Store, 1207 South Main for a Sealed Package Miniature license and Frank Dio Dato, Standard Market, 602 South 5th for a Sealed Package Liquor license be denied. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioners Moore and Peccole passed their votes. JAMES L. FILBEY DEED A letter from Mr. James L. Filbey's attorney was read to the Board relative to the accept­ance of a deed of ten acres of land for roads located in the N½ of the SE¼ of Section 32, T. 20 S., R 61 E., MDB&M. The clerk was instructed to call Mr. Robert Jones to see if he had ever prepared such a deed. ORDINANCE NO. 438 An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 6, SECTIONS 5 and 6 OF THE LAS VEGAS Bicycle Ordinance CITY CODE PROVIDING FOR THE REGISTRATION AND OPERATION OF BICYCLES IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, AND TO REPEAL CHAPTER 6, SECTION 8 OF THE LAS i VEGAS CITY CODE, having been reported on favorably by Commissioners Moore and Whipple, was read in full to the Board. Commissioner Moore moved Ordinance No. 438 be adopted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Bunker. LAS VEGAS SCHOOLS A letter from the Las Vegas Union School District was read by the Mayor. The letter was ordered filed. MAIN LIQUOR STORE - Commissioner Peccole moved that Charles Travis be accepted in the Main Liquor Store corpora- Charles Travis tion and that his name be added to those of the stockholders on their liquor license. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; Commissioner Moore voting no. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE MOVING OF BUILDINGS, HOUSES AND STRUC- Moving Permits TURES ALONG HIGHWAYS, STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY BUILDING INSPECTOR TO ISSUE PERMITS; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, was read by title to the Board and referred to Commissioners Moore and Whipple for recommendation. E. O. UNDERHILL DEED Commissioner Moore moved that the City Manager be instructed to request Mr. E. O. Underhill Extension of Oakey for a six month's extension to comply with the conditions of his deed. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
