SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Whipple moved that Service & Material Warrant No. 2018 in the amount WARRANT of $9,892.29 fee approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. MINUTES Commissioner Moore moved the minutes of November 1, 1950 be approved by reference and the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign same. PROPOSED BICYCLE Commissioners Moore and Whipple asked for additional time on reporting on this ORDINANCE ordinance. CLAIM & DEMAND - Commissioner Moore moved the claims of Frank B. Henry and David Winston for loss Frank B. Henry of their dogs in the amounts of $50.00 and $75.00 respectively, be denied. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Moore moved the applications of Robert C. Brodine, Acme Liquor Store, New 1207 South Main for a Sealed Package Liquor Miniature license and Wilbert E. Roesselet, 917 South 5th for a Sealed Package Miniature Liquor license be tabled. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Moore moved the application of the Golden Nugget, 2nd & Fremont, for Additional additional games of 1 poker, 2 pan, 1 crap and 6 slot machines for the fourth quar­ter, of 1950 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes,. none. WELLS CARGO, INC. - Commissioner Bunker moved the request for a partial payment in the amount of $9,408.96 Partial Payment on on their contract covering work completed to date on Assessment District No. 200-2 Assessment Dist. #200-2, of the Wells Cargo, Inc. be paid. AR-BEE COMPANY - Commissioner Peccole moved the request for partial payment in the amount of $1,691.19 Partial Payment on on their contract covering work completed to date on Assessment District No. 100-7 Assessment Dist. #100-7 of the Ar-Bee Construction Company be paid. AGREEMENT - At this time an agreement between the occupants of the premises abutting on that cer- Paving of alley tain portion of the alley between South Main and South 1st Streets and Fremont and Carson Avenues and the City of Las Vegas, was read to the Board. Commissioner Moore moved the agreement be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk be au­thorized to sign same, providing no work be done until full payments have been received. CITY ATTORNEY REQUEST Commissioner Peccole moved the request of the City Attorney for $300.00 to attend the National Institute of Municipal Law Officers to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, this expense heretofore having been provided for in the budget, be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commis­sioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Salary increase of Commissioner Whipple moved that the request of the City Attorney to increase the salary Asst. City Attorney of the Assistant City Attorney to $325.00 per month be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PROPOSED ORDINANCE An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 1 AND 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 360 OF Regional Planning THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A REGIONAL PLANNING COM Commission MISSION AND AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA TO COLLABORATE WITH THE GOVERNING BODIES OF THE INCORPORATED CITIES IN CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA, AND THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, OF CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA, FOR THE CREATION OF A REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION." ALSO REFERRED TO AS CHAPTER 24, SECTIONS 1 AND 2 OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, AND TO REPEAL SECTIONS 3 AND 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 360 ALSO REFERRED TO AS CHAPTER 24, SECTIONS 3 AND 4 OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, was read by title and referred to Commissioners Peccole and Whipple for recommendation. BOY SCOUTS Commissioner Peccole moved that Mr. Gray Gubler be asked to meet with the City Manager to discuss the future plans of the City Park's arrangement with regard to the Boy Scout's meeting place.
