RESOLUTION - Assessment Commissioner Whipple introduced and moved the adoption of the following District #100-3 resolution: WHEREAS, certain streets and portions of streets in the City of Las Vegas are without adequate street improvements, and WHEREAS, numerous oral requests have been made that these streets be improved, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners are desirous that the streets and portions of streets in the City of Las Vegas, hereinafter described, be improved, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day of October, 1950, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to prepare, and file with the City Clerk, plats, diagrams, plans of the work and locality to be improved, together with the estimates of cost for constructing oil bound gravel pavement and concrete curbs and gutters, complete street lighting and sidewalks wherever said improvements are missing on the following described streets, to wit: All of South 17th Street from Charleston Blvd. to Carson Avenue; all of Spencer Street from Charleston Blvd, to Carson Avenue, and all of Carson Avenue from Spencer Street to a point 83 feet east of the center line of 17th Street. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. RESOLUTION - Assessment Commissioner Whipple introduced and moved the adoption of the following District #100-7 resolution: WHEREAS, that portion of South Main Street hereinafter described, has been and still is without adequate street lighting, and WHEREAS, numerous requests have been made for the installation of street lighting along the said South Main Street, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas have determined that the public will be better served by the installation of street lighting facilities on all of South Main Street from the intersection of 5th Street and Main Street to the intersection of Carson Street and Main Street, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day of October, 1950, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to prepare and file with the City Clerk, plats, diagrams and estimates of cost for the installation of complete street lighting facilities with steel standards and single overhead wire on series lighting system in, over, and along South Main Street from the intersection of 5th Street and Main Street to the intersection of Carson Street and Main Street. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. RESOLUTION - Assessment Commissioner Whipple introduced and moved the adoption of the following District #100-2 resolution: WHEREAS, certain streets and portions of streets in the City of Las Vegas are without adequate street improvements, WHEREAS, numerous oral requests have been made that these streets be improved, and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners are desirous that the streets and portions of streets hereinafter described, in the City of Las Vegas, be improved, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 11th day of October, 1950, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to prepare, and file with the City Clerk, plats, diagrams, plans of the work and locality to be improved, together with estimates of cost for constructing asphaltic concrete pavement with gravel base, concrete curb and gutter and concrete valley gutters wherever said improvements are missing, on the following described streets and portions of streets, to wit: All of Stewart Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 10th Streets to the west curb line of 25th Street; all of Ogden Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 10th streets to the east property line of 14th Streets; all of Carson Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 10th Streets to the east property line of 14th Streets; all of Bridger Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 19th Streets to the east property line of 14th Street; all of Lewis Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 10th Streets to the east property line of 14th Street; all of Clark Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 10th Streets to the east property line of 14th Street; all of Bonneville Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 10th Streets to the east property line of 13th Street; all of Garces Avenue from the center line of the alley between 9th and 10th Streets to the west property line of 11th Street; all of 10th Street from the north property line of Charleston Blvd. to the south property line of Stewart Avenue; all of 11th Street from the north property line of Charleston Blvd to the south property line of Stewart Avenue; all of 12th Street from the north property line of Charleston Blvd to the south property line of Stewart Avenue; all of 13th Street from the north property line of Charleston Blvd, to the south property line of Stewart Avenue; all of 14th Street from the south property line of Clark Avenue to the south property line of Stewart Avenue.
