    ASSESSMENT DISTRICT #200-2 - Commissioner Whipple moved the partial payment to Wells Cargo Inc., in the Partial Payment to Contractor total amount of $4,183.30 for the installation of improvements in Assessment district No. 200-2, West Charleston Boulevard Sewer, be approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign the warrant when it is drawn up. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes none. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Moore moved the application of E.A. Eckerson, Spic rN Span, 931 Change of Owners Fremont Street for a Retail Restaurant Beverage license for the fourth quarter of 1950 be approved pending police investigation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Moore moved the application of L.L. Brown and D.M. Hoopes, First Street Grocery, 631 South 1st Street for a Retail Beverage license for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted pending police investigation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Moore moved the application of Andrew Bruner, 1320 North D New Street for a Retail Package Liquor license, and Laura McVade, 213 Jackson Street for a Sealed Package Liquor license, both for the fourth quarter of 1950 be denied. This motion lost for lack of a second. Commissioner Bunker moved the application of Andrew Bruner, 1920 North D Street for a Retail Package Liquor license and Laura McVade, 213 Jackson Street for a Sealed Package Liquor license, both for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted pending investigation by the Police Department. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Moore. REFUND OF LIQUOR LICENSE Commissioner Whipple moved the request of Bertie Dees for refund of the DEPOSIT $50.00 deposit on a Retail Restaurant Beverage license at the Spic 'N Span, 931 Fremont be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. — GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved the application of P.O. Silvagni, Apache Bar, Additional 2nd and Fremont for license for two additional slot machines, and the application of Mrs. Joe Morgan, Silver Club, 108 North 1st Street for additional license for one "21" table and one Pan game for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Renewals At this time the following applications for renewal of gaming licenses for the fourth quarter of 1950 were presented to the Board for their consideration. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. CIGARETTE LICENSE Commissioner Whipple moved the following applications for license for the APPLICATIONS Retail Sale of Cigarettes and Tobacco Products for the fourth quarter of 1950 be granted: COREY'S CAFE 402 Fremont Herb Rosenberg THE SKILLET 1519 South Main William H. PAY RAISE FOR CITY Commissioner Peccole moved the blanket raise in pay of $10.00 per month for EMPLOYEES City Employees be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
