Commissioner Moore moved that pursuant to the favorable recommendation of the Police Department the application of Edward R. Moss, Goldfield Club, 114-116 Fremont for a Retail Tavern Liquor license for the third quarter of 1950 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the petition heretofore received on July 7, 1950 from property owners in the two hundred block on South 10th Street be referred to the Regional Planning Commission for study to see if preventive measures can be taken in this situation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the request of the Boy Scouts of America to use the Auditorium all day of October 7, 1950 without charge, be allowed. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Moore moved the City Manager be instructed to put on a man for at least fifteen days on the Westside to work in conjunction with the Poundmaster to clear up the situation of so many dogs running at large. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Moore moved this meeting adjourn until September 22, 1950 at the hour of 3:00 P.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none.
