SALE OF FIREARMS Commissioner Bunker moved the letter under date of May 12, 1950 from the Clark County Protestant Ministerial Association requestion an ordinance restricting the sale of pistols and small arms be tabled. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. AGREEMENT - Storm Drain Commissioner Moore moved the Mayor and City Clerk be authorised to sign Nevada Construction the agreement with Nevada Construction Co. to connect the drainage from Charleston Boulevard Storm Sewer to the Approach Outfall Sewer. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following votes Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. FIRE HYDRANTS Commissioner Peccole moved the City Manager and the Fire Chief investigate the need of fire hydrants in the City Of Las Vegas and make a report to the Board. LIQUOR LICENSE Commissioner Peccole moved that pursuant to the favorable recommendation Bottle House of the Police Department the request to transfer the Sealed Package (Mina) liquor license of the Bottle House to Floyd Cope be approved, and Mr. Cope's application for same granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Moore moved the application of Floyd Cope, Bottle House, 827 So 5th, Bottle House for three slot machines for the second quarter of 1950 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Moore, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye noes, none. MEL SCHROEDER TRACT At this time Commissioner Whipple stated that on May 5, 1950 the Board took Amendment to Land Use Board took under advisement the request for Amendment to the Land Use Plan Plan by Mel Schroeder on his tract located on West Charleston Boulevard. Commissioner Whipple said that he felt Mr. Schroeder should be advised as to when this matter would be acted upon, and would like to have a joint meeting with the Regional Planning Commission. Mr. Schroeder said that four months had passed since he had first taken up the matter with the Regional Planning Commission and he would like to know whether or not he could proceed with his plans. Commissioner Peccole stated that he would like to have the matter placed on the agenda.
