McMahon, applicant on the El Cortez Casino gaming license. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved the application of Guy McAfee, Norman Keller, et al, Golden Additionals Nugget, 2nd & Fremont for four additional slot machines and Mrs. J. H. Morgan, Silver Club, 108 North 1st for one additional poker game for the second quarter of 1950 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Whipple moved the following applications for gaming licenses, change of oper- Change of Operators ator, be granted: IDLE HOUR POOL HALL I.P. & Irma MacDonald 19 Ogden 3 slots THE KATYDID Katherine Russe 113 North 1st 2 slots WHITE SPOT ARCADE INC. Arthur Rozen, Samuel Lichter, Minnie Chandler 109 Fremont 50 slots Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. Commissioner Whipple moved the foregoing new applications for gaming license be granted. LIQUOR APPLICATIONS Commissioner Peccole moved the following new applications for liquor license for the second quarter of 1950 be granted subject to the report of the Police Department after investigation, ADAMS GROCERY Claude L. Adams 111 North 9th Retail Beverage WESTSIDE MEATS Richard Swartz & Robert Joe Lund 413 Jackson Retail Beverage Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Clarence E. Cannon, All Nite Market, 921 South Main Street for a Retail Beverage license for the second quarter of 1950 be rein­stated and the license be granted subject to the report of the Police Department on in­vestigation of Mr. Cannon. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Bunker and Moore.
