405 ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor, Commissioners and City Manager of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing Notice of Special Meeting: /s/ E. W. Cragin /s/ Reed Whipple______________ /s/ Pat Clark /s/ Robert T. Moore___________ /s/ Bob Baskin /s/ J. M. Murphy ********** Las Vegas, Nevada May 27, 1949 A Special meeting held this 27th day of May, 1949 was called to order at the hour of 4:30 P.M. by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin with the following members present: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple; City Manager J. M. Murphy, City Attorney C. Norman Cornwall and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger. PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 383 An ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE DETERMINATION OF THE BOARD OF 14th St. Addition - Improve- COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, TO MAKE CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE ments CITY OF LAS VEGAS BY INSTALLING A SANITARY SEWER IN THE SAID CITY; PROVIDING THAT THE COST AND EXPENSE THEREOF SHALL BE PAID ENTIRELY BY SPECIAL ASSESSMENT UPON ALL THE LOTS INCLUDED WITHIN THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT HEREBY ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO THE BENEFITS; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO, having been referred to a committee composed of Commissioners Moore and Whipple for report was recommended favorably by the committee and then read in full to the Board for a first time. Thereafter Commissioner Moore moved that the above entitled Ordinance No. 383 be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote; Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before this special meeting, the meeting was adjourned.
