    351-A QUITCLAIM DEED - Commissioner Clark moved that the quitclaim deed of the Fifth Street Properties to the 5th Street Properties City of Las Vegas for extensions on Fifth Place and Sixth Street be referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GENERAL PULASKI At this time a letter and resolution from I. K. Werwinski of South Bend, Indiana was MEMORIAL DAY received relative to "General Pulaski's Memorial Day". This correspondence was ordered filed. CHANGE OF ADDRESS — Commissioner Baskin moved that the request of Beverage Distributors Inc. for change of Beverage Distributors address from 101 Charleston to 422 South Main be approved. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATIONS At this time the following gaming applications for the first quarter of 1949 were presented to the Board for their consideration: NEW Kroloff Distributing Co. Lu Roy's Cafe RENEWALS Gayer Company Don & Bob's Motor Service A. K. Smith Smith's Drive In ADDITIONALS John A. Harrell Keyhole Bar 0. W. Glenn The Market Spot 0. W. Glenn The Hawk's Nest Ted Patton Music Co. Desert Snack's Thereafter Commissioner Baskin moved that the foregoing applications be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Baskin moved that the application of M. C. Kress, State Cafe, 20 Fremont 4th Qtr. 1948 for 4 slot machines for the fourth quarter of 1948 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. PROPOSED AUCTIONEERS The committee composed of Commissioners Moore and Whipple on the proposed auctioneers ORDINANCE ordinance asked for additional time before reporting. SERVICE & MATERIAL Commissioner Clark moved that Service & Material Warrants Nos. 1743 and 1756 to 1763 inclusive WARRANTS and l76O.l in the net sum of $140,263.76 be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time Commissioner Clark moved that this meeting recess until February 11, 1949 at the hour of 3:00 P.M.
