W. Cragin /s________________ Reed Whipple /s______________ Pat Clark /s___________________________________________________________ Robert A. Moore /s_____________ Las Vegas, Nevada July 23, 1948 CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING This special meeting was called to order by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin at the hour of 3:00 P.M. with the following members present: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple; City Manager J. M. Murphy, and City Clerk Shirley Ballinger; Absent: Commissioner Basking and City Attorney C. Norman Cornwall. PROPOSED CURFEW The committee composed of Commissioners Clark and Moore asked for further time ORDINANCE to report on the Curfew Ordinance. They also asked that a copy of said proposed Ordinance be referred to Judges Henderson and McNamee before being adopted. ORDINANCE NO. 354 At this time Ordinance No. 354 relating to the installation of Parking Meters, 2nd reading was read in full to the Board for a second time. Thereafter Commissioner Whipple moved that the foregoing Ordinance be adopted on its second reading. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin At this time City Attorney C. Norman Cornwall arrived. ORDINANCE NO. 355 At this time Ordinance No. 355 prescribing the fees for driveway permits was 2nd reading read in full to the Board for the second time.
