258 GAMING APPLICATION Commissioner Whipple moved that the application of the Pioneer Club, Additional - 2nd Qr. Charles Addison, 25 Fremont for 18 additional slot machines for the 2nd quarter of 1948, be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple, and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. LIQUOR APPLICATION Commissioner Clark moved that the application of E. M. Krabbenhoft 2nd Quarter dba Pioneer News Stand, 124 North 1st Street for a retail Restaurant Beverage license at said address for the second quarter of 1948 which was presented at the regular meeting of the Board on May 21, 1948 and referred by them to the Police Department for investigation, be refunded as per Mr. Krabbenhoft's request of June 15, 1948. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin. AEROVILLE LAND Commissioner Clark moved that the agreement by and between the City of ADJUSTMENT — Las Vegas and the Aeroville Corporation transferring certain parcels Agreement of Land as stated in said agreement be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Moore and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin BUSINESS LICENSE — Commissioner Moore moved that the list of second quarter delinquent 2nd Qr. Delinquents business licenses presented by the City Clerk as uncollectable, be referred to the City Attorney for recommendation. DEWHURST LAWN TRACT Commissioner Clark moved that the Dewhurst Lawn Subdivision, Tentative TRACT — map be approved in accordance with the recommendations of the Joint Tentative Map Planning Commission dated July 6, 1948 and on file in the office of the Approved city clerk. In addition to said recommendations of the Planning Commission the Board wishes to recommend that street lights be installed. PROPOSED ORDINANCE Re: Parking Meters An ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO TRAFFIC AND REGULATING THE USE OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS: CREATING AND DEFINING PARKING METER ZONES; PROVIDING FOR THE DESIGNATION OF INDIVIDUAL PARKING SPACES; DEFINING AND PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION, OPERATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF PARKING METERS; PRESCRIBING PARKING TIME LIMITS; REQUIRING DEPOSIT OF COINS FOR THE USE OF PARKING METERS AND PARKING METER ZONES AND
