] 200 of the County, North Las Vegas and the City of Las Vegas pooling their resources for the operation of a central dog pound and also with the thought in mind of entering into an agreement, or contract, with the Humane Society for the operation of said Pound. Considerable discussion was had on the matter, with Mayor McDaniels, of North Las Vegas and M. E. Leavitt, County Commissioner expressing their approval of the proposal on behalf of their respective Boards. Thereafter, Mayor Cragin, stated that the City would institute a survey to ascertain the cost of constructing proper kennels, and also for the operational costs therefor; and, at a later date would so notify both the City of North Las Vegas and the County of Clark of their findings. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time, Commissioner Moore moved that the meeting recess until January 30, 1948 at the hour of 9:00 A.M. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Moore, Whipple and His Honor voting aye. Noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Baskin.
