Cannon ALL NITE MARKET Harry J. Mangrum DESERT CASTLE SYSTEM Thereafter Commissioner Clark moved that the foregoing liquor applications be granted. PETITION FOR ANNEXATION At this time the following petition was presented to the Board, dated April 21, 1947: Honorable mayor Cragin & Board of City Commissioners Las Vegas, Nevada Gentlemen: We herewith petition your honorable body to consider the annexation to the City of Las Vegas that land legally known as the South l/2 of Southwest l/4 of Section 22 Township 20, Range 61 East, left five acres as is described in deed No. 9, page 45. Being that land lying just north of N.F.M.&N. Addition and Valley View Addition; better known as Westside, as indicated on the attached City map. This property is to be developed into a new two- bedroom home project for the colored people of that section. The same being sponsored by the Pioneer Realty and Development Co. of Las Vegas, with Federal Housing insured loans. This project cannot be built without first being a part of the City of Las Vegas.
