Fennessy, City Manager, of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. you and each of you will please take notice that pursuant to a call this day issued by Mayor Cragin, a Special meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada will be held on Friday, March 14, 1947 at the hour of 10:00 A.M., to consider the above matters. /s/ Helen Scott Reed City Clerk We, the undersigned, Mayor and Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing Notice of Special Meeting. /s/ A. Fennessy__________ Meeting called to order at the hour of 10 A.M. with the following members present: Commissioners Clark, Corradetti; Mayor E. W. Cragin; City Manager, T. E. Fennessy; City Attorney C. Norman Cornwall; and City Clerk Helen Scott Reed. Absent: Commissioners Baskin and Bates. RECREATION DEPARTMENT Commissioner Clark moved that the City purchase a 1940 Ford two door Car Purchase sedan from the Westside USO in the sum of $315.00 and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign said warrant. Motion seconded by Commissioner Corradetti and carried by the follow­ing vote: Commissioners Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Baskin and Bates. HARVEY DICKERSON CLAIM Commissioner Corradetti moved that the sum of $500.00 for legal work Jondahl Case done on the Jondahl Case be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioners Baskin and Bates. There being no further business to come before the meeting at this time, this meeting adjourned. ATTEST: APPROVED: City Clerk Mayor March 22, 1947 At a regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners held this 22nd day of March, 1947. Meeting called to order by His Honor Mayor E. W. Cragin at the hour of 10 A.M. with the following members present Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti; City Manager T. E. Fennessy; City Attorney C. Norman Cornwall; and City Clerk Helen Scott Reed. Absent: Commissioner Bates. MOTION RE: Commissioner Clark moved that the Minutes of February 21, March 7 ASPHALT TILE BID and 14, be approved with the exception of the motion relative to the letting of new bids for asphalt tile floor covering for the two fire stations made by Commissioner Bates, seconded by Commissioner Clark and unanimously carried at the March 7, 1947 meeting, which motion is hereby rescinded. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bates. PAYROLL CLAIMS Commissioner Clark moved that Payroll claims Nos. 1098 to 1105 inclusive and 1107 in the net sum of $22,388.60 be approved and the Mayor and City clerk be authorized to sign same.
