STREETS & HIGHWAYS Commissioner Clark moved that the Planning Commission be instructed to make a study and report relative to Street opening from the Meadows Addition to 5th Street and Main Street. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bates. Kroloff SAVE- RITE DRUG STORE A. Kroloff SAVE-RITE DRUG STORE J. Kell Houssels LAS VEGAS CLUB Commissioner Clark moved that the foregoing gaming application be granted for the first quarter of 1947. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bates. Commissioner Clark moved that the application of Robert Peccole for 2 slot machines at Bill's Lunch Counter, 109 No. 3rd, be denied because the slot machines are not located inside of a room. Motion seconded by Commissioners Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bates. MARYLAND PARKWAY Commissioner Clark moved that the Beard of Commissioners of the City Typical Section of Las Vegas are not in favor of the typical section on Maryland Parkway from Charleston Blvd. to Carson Street, as recommended by the Planning Commission, because the cost of installation and maintenance would be too high and that the matter be again referred to the Planning Commission. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor Voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bates. VOLUNTEER FIREMEN Commissioner Corradetti moved that the City of Las Vegas will approve CLUB the relocation of the Volunteer Firemen's Club House in the City Park, subject to the approval of the Planning Commission. Further that the Architectural treatment is to be approved by the Planning Commission and the Board of City Commissioners. Motion seconded by Commissioner Baskin and carried by the following vote: Commissioner Clark moved that the request of the Last Frontier Hotel for use of the old bell now hanging in the old City Jail be granted until such time as the Fire Department needs it; and an agreement be prepared by the City Attorney and presented to the Last Frontier for signatures and approval by the Board. Motion seconded by Commissioner Corradetti and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bates. ZONE EXCEPTION CASE #23 Commissioner Baskin moved that this Board will grant Mrs. Helms a zone Mrs. Florence B. Nelms exception for her property located at the corner of 6th & Stewart for limited commercial use when the Board is presented with the necessary petition. Motion seconded by Commissioner Clark and curried by the following vote: Commissioners Baskin, Clark, Corradetti and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bates.
