At this time the bond of the Las Vegas Liquor Distributors Inc; was presented to the Board for approval. Said bond being a personal bond signed by Peter Pansy and Frank Detra. On motion of Commissioner Down seconded by Commissioner German it was moved and carried that the bond of the Las Vegas Liquor Distributors, Ins; be approved and the same signed by the mayor. Vote was as follows Commissioners German and Down and His Honor the Mayor voting Aye. Noes none. No further business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Friday the 8th day of March, 1935 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. MARCH 8th, 1935. MINUTES OF A RECESSED REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS held on the 8th day of March 1935 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Roll call showed the following present Mayor Cragin, Commissioners Arnett, Marble, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent Commissioners Down and German. Mr. A.W.Blackman presented to the Board for its consideration the form of budget to be approved and adopted by the City for the year 1935. Mr. Blackman presented this has the duly authorized City Auditor. After some discussion on the form of budget it was moved and carried that the form be approved, on motion duly made by Commissioner Marble, and seconded by Commissioner Arnett in substantially the following form: City of Las Vegas, 1935 CITY BUDGETS ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, 1935. Unencumbered balance in city treasury on January 1, 1935 $57,612.88 B. Revenue from taxes already levied 47,171.75 C. Nontax revenues in 1935, estimated 94,182.82 D. Expenditures 1935, estimated 181,891.28 E. Nontax revenues in 1936, estimated 75,000.00 F. Expenditures in 1936, estimated 159,576.17 Explanation: A. Unencumbered balance is total balance less warrants outstanding on January 1. B.
