OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. JANUARY 20th, 1931. Minutes of a recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, held on the 20th day of January 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners Thomas, and Smith together with the City Attorney and Cterk. Absent Commissioners German, and Hansell. Minutes of previous meetings read and approved as read. The Board at this time discussed the business of drilling a well on the park site. No action was taken on this matter at this time. No further business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Wednesday the 21st day of January 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK, CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. JANUARY 21st, 1931. At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, held on the 21st day of January 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. Present Mayor Hesse, Commissioners Smith, German, Thomas together with the City attorney and Clerk. Absent Commissioner Hansell. Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner German it was moved to transfer $400.00 from the Publicity Fund to the General Fund. Said $400.00 had been borrowed from the Publicity Fund from the General Fund several month previous. Vote on said motion was as follows: Commissioners German, Thomas, and Smith, and His Honor the Mayor voting Aye. Noes none. Mr. J.P. King was present at the meeting and presented figures for the estimated cost of drilling a well on the City parksite. Mr. Stevens, City Attorney was directed to draw up a contract between the City of Las Vegas, and Terry Diskin for the drilling of the well. No further business appearing before the Board at this time the meeting recessed until Tuesday the 27th day of January 1931 at the hour of three o'clock P.M. To the City Clerk of the City of Las Vegas, Viola Burns: I hereby call a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, to be held at the Board room of the said Board in the County Commissioners' Room in the County Court House in the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, on Friday the 23rd, day of January 1931, at the hour of eight o'clock P.M., to consider and act upon the following business, to-wit:
