At a recessed regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas held on the 27th day of November 1929 at the hour of seven thirty o'clock P.M. Present His Honor the Mayor J. F. Hesse, Commissioners German, Hansell, Smith, and Thomas, City Attorney, and Clerk. Upon motion of Commissioner Hansell, seconded by Commissioner Smith it was moved that the General Construction Company and L. Watson be allowed to with draw bid on Curbs, gutters and rough grading Vote as follows: Commissioners Thomas, German, Hansell, and Smith, and His Honor the Mayor voting Aye. Noes None. Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Hansell it was moved that the low bid on the curb, gutters, and rough grading be accepted, being the bid of R. E. Hazard Company of San Diego, for the amount of $52,071.58 Vote as follows: Commissioners Thomas, German, Hansell, and Smith and His Honor the Mayor J. F. Hesse voting Aye. Noes none. Upon motion of Commissioner Hansell, seconded by Commissioner Thomas, it was moved that the bid of the General Construction and R. L. Watson for paving be accepted, it being the low bid. Vote as follows: Commissioners Thomas, German, Hansell, and Smith and His Honor the Mayor J. F. Hesse voting Aye. Noes none. The report of the Mayor on the petitions for Fair Ground accepted and City Attorney authorized to draw resolution for action at next recessed meeting. Mayor's report was ordered placed on file. The Assessment Roll on Ornamental Street lighting filed by the Ex Officio assess or of the City of Las Vegas, and the City Attorney authorized to draw resolution for next recessed regular meeting.
