    OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA. March 2, 1928. At an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, held on the 2nd day of March, 1928, at the hour of three o'clock P. M. Present: His Honor, the Mayor, J. F. Hesse, Commissioners W. B. Mundy and O. J. Smith, together with the City Attorney and Clerk. Absent: Commissioners Roy Neagle and W. C. German. Meeting called to order by the Mayor. The Board proceeded to take up the Budget and Tax Levy for the year 1928, and, after full discussion, it was ORDERED upon motion made by Commissioner W. B. Mundy and seconded by Commissioner O. J. Smith, and duly carried that the following Budget be adopted, viz.: Estimated Receipts and Expenditures of the City of Las Vegas for the year Ending December 31, 1928, as provided by Section 9, Chapter 42, Statutes of Nevada, 1923. Thereupon, the following Resolution was adopted by the Board upon motion of Commissioner Mundy, Seconded by Commissioner Smith: BE IT RESOLVED that the said Budget be signed in behalf of this Board by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk and the same be filed with the City Clerk and a copy thereof published in a newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas, for two publications, one week apart. The vote on said Resolution was as follows: Commissioners Mundy, Smith, and His Honor, the Mayor, Aye. Noes, none. Cash on Hand, January 1, 1928................................................$19,867.48 Balance Due from Second Half Taxes, 1928 .................................$14,464.18
