Abstract
The UNLV Libraries Collection of Regional History Files (approximately 1855-2020) represent a wide variety of subjects relating to Las Vegas, Nevada and the surrounding region. Materials include physical and scanned newspaper clippings, documents and fliers, brochures, reports, scanned photographs, and website printouts. The files include information about national organizations with local Nevada chapters, prominent individuals and families, popular locations, and general topics relating to Southern Nevada history.

Materials were periodically collected by UNLV University Libraries Special Collections and Archives; accession numbers 2019-013 and 2024-077.
Processing Note
In 2020 and 2021, Autumn Bassett, Miguel Dominguez, and Violet del Toro Paz rehoused the collection and created an inventory list. In 2021, Sarah Jones entered the data into ArchivesSpace and created the finding aid. In 2024, Tammi Kim accessioned digital files from the 2024 addition and entered the inventory in ArchivesSpace.
