Educ. coordinator) Meeting was called to determine the direction Educators and curriculum staff will now take to implement Holocaust study into the school curriculum. Suggestions made as follows: 1. Fred Stopsky ..... will be used at a later date 2. In-service training for teachers -- set up thru Curriculum Dept. 3. All books in Resource Library should be catalogued . Possible use of some of the school librarians to help read the books ... and for their comments. 4. Possible "toll free number" or "HOT LINE" to Wiesenthal Center to ge t answers to questions. 5. Order "Night and Fog" .... English vers ion Dates to 8/21 8/25 remember: meeting with new teachers - Karla McComb meeting with Social Studies chairmen - Terry Mannion Edythe reporte d that Mel Me rmelstein was contacted . He agreed to go to Carson City at the request of Norman Scoggins to speak in the classrooms. Will also bring his film "Night & Fog". Ellen Williams was introduced ..... she will be the contact person working in the Resource Library.
