LAS VEGAS, URGENT TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM URGENT URGENT NEVADA ? 384-5070 June 7, 1967 PRAYER RALLY FOR ISRAEL AT TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM All friends of Israel, Jews and non-Jews alike, are invited to a special prayer rally for support of Israel sponsored by the Mens Club of Temple Beth Sholom at the Sabbath services this Friday night at 8:30 PM at the Temple, located at 1600 E. Oakey Blvd. Similar rallies of support for Israel are taking place in Synagogues all over the United States and Canada, as an outpouring of sympathy and support for a brave little democracy in the Middle East sweeps over the democratic world. With each passing hour it becomes more and more obvious that Nasser and the Arab countries, armed to the teeth and supported by Communist Russia and Red China, was planning a holy war of annihilation against Israel. Supporters of Israel in western Europe and in the United States have been made aware of the fact that the entire popu-lation of Israel between the age of 18 and 50 are fighting on four battle fronts against seven Arab countries that swore to murder every man, woman and child in Israel. With such a vast percentage of its citizenry fighting for Israel's very existence, the economy of Israel is at a complete stand-still, many cities and villages without food or medical supplies; without doctors, nurses, teachers or anyone to care for the farms, stores, and the other institutions that enable a country to live . Obviously it was Nasser's plan to annihilate Israel and all of its democratic institu-tions of culture and learning, and hand over the entire Middle East to Russia, with himself remaining the leader of the entire Arab world, although this leadership would be directly controlled by the Kremlin for the benefit of Russian imperialism. The Israeli people are determined not to permit an act of genocide against its population perpetrated by the Russian- Arab bloc. Nor will Israel allow itself to become another Warsaw Ghetto; to be obliterated piece by piece by the fanatic enemy, and its people slaughtered.
