MINTZ Educational Director RABBI ELIYAHU SHAIN Certified Mohel On June 22, 1986, Bris Avrohom will host Mfhe largest re-marriage of Soviet Jews, now in the U.S., who were denied religious rites in the Soviet Union. This "Celebration of Religious Freedom" will include brides and grooms ranging in age from 19 to 80, who share a common desire to be married in the traditional Jewish rites of their heritage. Bris Avrohom - an affiliate of the worldwide Lubavitch movement - provides all the religious and social needs of more than 1000 Russian immigrant families, including classes in English and Jewish subjects in all levels and for all age groups. Our multifaceted programs seek to insure that these people will continue to have the secure feeling of being full members of the Jewish community - a feeling they were never able to gain in the land of their birth. The event is also sponsored by Friends of Bris Avrohom, a committee of numerous New Jersey community leaders. We would be honored if you would favor us with a letter of greeting to be read at the wedding. It will add greatly to the dignity and distinc-tion of this memorable event. In addition, each couple will receive a copy of your greeting as a wedding gift, that they will save as a remem-brance of this special day. Your immediate response would be appreciated, as we would like to pre-pare the package of messages by June 15. Sincerely yours, Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky Executive Director Bris Avrohom ACTIVITIES: Brissin, Yeshiva Education, Bar-Mitzvos, Tefilin, Camps, Library, Passover Sedorim, Holiday Gatherings, Family Counseling, Synagogue, Kashrus, Mezuzas, Hospital Visitings.
