SIDNEY SCHUMAN ? α ? α ? α Nancy Eileen Shapiro, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs, Michael Shapiro, became the bride 1 of Sidney William Schuman, Sat- urday October 30, in the Sands Hotel Convention Hall with Rab- bi Aaron Gold of Temple Beth Sholom officiating. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.. William Schuman of Beverly Hills and Honolulu. The wedding was attended by 500 friends and relatives of the bride and bridegroom, many making the trip from Los An- geles. The bride wore a white satin floor length gown with a Chan- tilly lace mantilla veil. She car- ried a cascade bouquet of or- chids. Miss Marilyn Bemey served as maid of. honor and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Bruce Kates, sister of the bridegroom; Mrs. David Goldman and Mrs. Myron Rothberg, sisters of the bride, and Miss Susan Bertisch. The bridal attendants wore em- pire gowns of yellow orange crepe and carried bouquets of autumnal flowers in keeping with the theme of the floral de- cor. Bruce Kates was the best man while David Goldman, My- ron Rotherberg, Joseph Alvarez III and Frank Sinatra, Jr. ush- ered. The convention hall was dec- orated in chrysanthemums of autumn colors of yellow, burnt orange and rust. Music was provided by the rry King Violins and the re Burton orchestra.
