I agree.Pillsbury Mills, Inc. Minneapolis 2,Minnesota February 15, 1956 Mr. 11 Freeman Publicity Sands Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada Dear 11: I sent the layouts of Vegas to TWA$ then last week I called them to go into the matter more thoroughly. As I suspected there were some muddy areas5 not lack of agreement on the idea of Sands-Vegas-TWA promotional possibilities but a reticence at TWA to proceed headlong. One thing that cropped up was a policy reshaping that is occuring due to the death of their president. I just don't feel that the deal can be pushed through now and have the best interest of all represented. There is a matter of timing which must have consideration when the picture theme is played up so heavily - TWA along with Pillsbury feels that this is unsolvable since the picture is now or about to be released. Then cooperators like TWA want and deserve the prominent representation because of their heavier contribution than anyone else except Pillsbury. I believe, if you are in agreement, that we should take a new more leisurely approach to the problem of tailoring a promotion on Las Vegas - one that is not quite so involved in timing. Thank you. A.
