I agree.M A T U - T V PUBLICIDAD S. A. INSURGENTES SUR MEXICO CITY March 27, 1972 Mr. A I Freeman Sands HoteI Las Vegas, Nevada Dear AI, This letter confirms the verbal offer we made to you yesterdav as foilows: We wish to produce a video taped program to be transmitted only In the Republic of Mexico, once, with an option for the second transmission. It will be a 90-minute program, deducting the commercial time, as well as introduction and closing sequences. We estimate the actual show time at more or less 75 minutes. The rough idea of this program, which will be called "This is Las Vegas", is as follows: Two Mexican emcees, a man and a woma n, will actually travel to Las Vegas; and the s hpot i ng begins when they arrive at the McCarran Airport. They talk to the public about Las Vegas, the greatest entertainment spot in the world, and they tour the town, as well as making side trips to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. The"strip", as well as some of the downtown casinos will be filmed, with a very special emphasis on the facades and marquees of the Hughes Corporation Hotels, including shots of the lobbies, shops, swimming pools--in short, the most attractive spots of these hotels. The tour ends at the Sands where the different musical numbers will be alternated in such a way as to maintain the original idea of a couple making a trip to Las Vegas, and attending the shows at the Sands. At the end of the program, the emcees will make a special mention regarding the cooperation of the Hughes Corporation in having facilitated its filming of the hotels and casinos --- Sands, ?╟÷ Frontier, S i I ver SI i pper, Castaways, Landmark, Desert Inn- - for the recording of the program, "This is Las Vegas". ?╟?i,rr 50 - 602 pii ?╟÷ /
