    156 INT. HELICOPTER b DAY 71. 156 ON A LEVER IN THE COCKPIT, alongside the right arm of the pilot's seat. It is a tube, about two inches thick and two feet long, with a pistol grip. It says something like "PITCH CONTROL." Bashik's hand gropes feebly INTO THE FRAME, straining toward the lever. A determined, lurching effort, and it catches the pistol grip, -feve^ishl^- twisting it. CAMERA PULLS BACK AS THE SOUNDS BEGIN AND GROW; THE EVER-INCREASING REV OF THE ENGINES, THE BUILDING ROAR*OF THE ROTORS, ETC. Bashik hangs onto the handle grimly, joyfully. 157 EXT. DESERT - ON STANDING HELICOPTER - DAY 157 NOISE CONTINUING TO BUILD. Beneath the blades is a violent, circular, artificial sandstorm, ten feet high and forty feet in circumference. Caught in the violent whirl, the Two Heavies fight vainly against the force of the wind and the violent, stinging sand. 158 INT. HELICOPTER - DAY 158 Bashik continuing to pour on the juice. Scott manages to close the hatch -- here, in the eye of the storm, the wind and sand are negligible -- and turns back to Bashik. Bashik is pointing off at something in the back of the cabin. Already puzzled enough, turns and sees: 159 INSERT: A WATER JAR *59 FIVE-GALLON SIZE, CRATED AND FULL, STANDING IN THE CORNER. 160 BACK TO SCENE 160 as Scott works his way toward it. BASHIK Try not to spill any of it! Kelly's just as thirsty as we are! 161 EXT. DESERT - ON KELLY 161 slowly coming-to under the effect of the breeze and the noise.
