I agree.Mr. Jack Entratter -2- November 20, 1957 We find when Grandpa tried to get some new pipe on his farm to irrigate he called a surveyor in and discovered that the Sands Hotel Casino had been built 12 feet over his farm line. Because the Sands Hotel does not want to be sued and can not move the building, the Board of Directors, after a large altercation, has agreed to make the McHaffie Family stockholders in that portion of the hotel that is on their property. Please understand, Jack, that this is just the barest outline of what we are going to do. There are many other story lines that we have, but time is so pressing now we thought we would give you just a sketchy idea of how we start the series. We believe there can be many interesting situations with four characters of this type: Grandpa who runs the farm and has a little roadside date stand who is the unofficial greeter of Las Vegas, knows everyone and if he doesn?╟╓t know them, will soon do so at a slight profit for himself; Sarah who, as we have said, is a helpful busybody; the beautiful Jill who works in the line of the Sands; and Jack who is the undersheriff of Las Vegas. We have many ways to go with different story lines involving the hotel and feel that this would make an ideal situation comedy. Naturally, we must get your cooperation. I feel that an endeavor of this type can be beneficial both to the Sands and, of course, to us. I would appreciate your calling and notifying us what time you will be down Monday to further discuss this series and button it up. Hugh Benson joins me in sending opr kindest personal Regards. Cordially,
