As of today, breakdown of hotels: HOTEL ROOMS GIVEN YET TO GIVE #0N WEEKEND Rancho 4 none 4 Sahara 92 10 est. 75 DI 50 22 est. 60 Thund. 57 25 est. 70 LF 58 25 est. 80 Flamingo 65 30 est. 85 Sands 60 impt. req. 35 est. 52-*^6 2. Most of above rooms for other hotels are for personnel in operation of test, AEC officials, and US Government people, who must be here for briefings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday before test. 3. We have almost all of working national press here at Sands, who also must behere for briefings. 4, Governors and their parties will arrive on Sunday and Monday, in almost every case. 5. We will no doubt be asked for reservations for Congressmen and High Government officials at the last minute, and request holding about 10 rooms aside for this group.
