At a meeting in the Chamber of Commerce officer, ?√ß 1 presented to the Board of Directors a preliminary outline of whet I thought we needed in the way of promotional material and an estimate on the artwork preparation, artwork planning, and artwork execution up to the printing stage of about $8100 which would ' provide us with five pieces of graphic promotional material to help make up for the lost time in pro* ranting the Convention Center throughout America. The Board of Directors, in the presence of Mr. Arnold Christensen, okayed the sun, knowing that it was a tentative estimate and that because of tbs pressure of time it might have to be flexible, sad - I was asked to proceed with the plans. 3. The artists hsve prepared three full comprehensive books instead of one rough rod one folly comprehensive book which is the normal procedure because they them- selves see quite sincere people and want to see ibis Convention Center go ae much as we do.
