Biographical / Historical Note
The Task Force for a Just and Inclusive Campus Environment was an organization located at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) that was active in the late 1990s. The task force's goals involved increasing the number of individuals from underrepresented groups in administrative positions and leadership positions, as well as assisting students from underrepresented groups in enrollment and academics. The organization collaborated with other organizations and committees including the UNLV Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Association, the Public Safety Advisory Board, and the Office of Diversity Initiatives.

Materials were periodically transferred to the University Archives; accession numbers 1988-095, 1994-048. This set of records include former record group number RG 4.10.1.
