Under separate cover we have sent your formal invitation to our Press Luncheon, June 2nd, at Dodgers Stadium, at which we will introduce several of this year's honorees. The luncheon has been planned so that our Southern California press corps could meet and gather first hand story material on our "Victor" award recipients prior to the event, which will be held June 28 at the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas. These will include Rocky Marciano, Lloyd Mangrum, Cornelius Warmerdam, Dr. Sammy Lee, and C. X. Yang, We also have invited scores of other dignitaries, including Governor Reagan, several prominent Southland mayors and past World Awards honorees. In the latter list are Elgin Baylor, Glenn Davis, Vicki Draves, Greta Anderson, John Wooden, Tom Harmon, Rafer Johnson, Pat McCormick, Casey Stengel, and Ralph Guldahl. Our genial host, Tom Arthur of Ogden Concessions, has promised a gourmet feed, and several charmers from the TWA stewardess corps will be on hand to add a touch of personal service.
